Today, as our nation pauses to observe Memorial Day, the Brothers of Morton Masonic Lodge No. 72 join together in solemn remembrance of the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

We owe them a debt of gratitude that can never fully be repaid.

As we gather with family and friends, let us keep the true meaning of this day close to our hearts. Take a moment to honor the memory of the fallen, offer a prayer of comfort for the families they left behind, and give thanks for the peace and freedom purchased by their sacrifice.

District 108 is honored to host a giant of Masonic research this month. Brother Pete Normand is not just a Full Member of the Texas Lodge of Research, he is a Past Master of this illustrious body with the coveted distinction of being a Fellow of Masonic Research (FMR)!

Brother Normand will present his eye-opening paper "Whence Came the Saints John?" to the Brethren of District 108 and our guests on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 when we gather at Katy Masonic Lodge #1439 for a night of Masonic discovery!
