David Leidner, Guitarist/Vocalist, Texas Certified Teacher, Certified Acoustic Instrument Luthier/Repairman and OSHA Safety Specialist. David’s work experience consists of 45 years of guitar instruction and repair. He has been an educator in elementary and adult education, specializing in GED/ESL instruction. David speaks and instructs in both English and in Spanish to 6-89 year olds and special n
eeds students. David’s love and passion for music is his forte, in that, he has taught music to his family and friends, plays in various bands of various genres from rock, blues, country, conjunto, ranchero, and 25 years playing in a German polka band!!! A native of the Rio Grande Valley, David learned Spanish and received his bachelor’s degree from Pan American University. From 1986 to 2002, he lived in Victoria, Texas, and Guitar by: Leidner went public. A small one room studio turned into multi-instructional academy. Eleven years later, in 2014, David moved to Richmond, Texas (southwest Houston) where he continues the proud tradition of teaching the world to sing and play. Effects of being a guitarist/vocalist can build self-esteem and self-actualization, which are lacking so much in our lives today. Most of David’s personal time is devoted to his numerous children and grandchildren.
