Welcome Back Pathfinders! Year 4 is going to be the BEST yet!

Our JK and Kindergarten classes had the opportunity to watch tiny caterpillars embark upon their remarkable journey from caterpillar to butterfly. 🦋 Kindergarteners had an extra special experience when they watched one butterfly emerge from its chrysalis in real-time and sip nectar for the first time! We were sad to see our butterflies go but loved watching the magic unfold in front of us!

We are excited to announce our newest program option for the 2024-2025 school year: Pathfinder’s Little Learners, a program created specially for three-year-old learners! We have one goal in mind: to provide our youngest learners with purposeful, play based instruction that fosters curiosity and creative thinking.

RPS Pathfinders have a big week ahead! The Student Art Show & Book Fair will take place this THURSDAY! Students have been working hard during Art this year and are excited to showcase their best work during the Art Show. Families are invited to come and take a look at the beautiful art on display and shop for books at the same time! It doesn’t get much better than that! 🎨📚

4 different animals, 3 types of materials, 2 partners, 1 planning page = an amazing kindergarten project! These cuties had a blast choosing and designing their habitats!

Our Pathfinders are 100 Days Smarter, Kinder, Brighter and Bolder! We celebrated with and lots of creating, building, counting, snacking and thinking 💡 in class! What a fun day!

Our Annual celebration is right around the corner and we are so excited to!! Please join us to support our amazing school or purchase raffle tickets! We will draw raffle winners the night of the event and you do not have to be present to win!!

What an incredible way to head into the Christmas season! Our Christmas Program told the story of Jesus’ birth through many narrators, an adorable play and festive songs. Our students worked so hard, had many opportunities to grow in their roles through public speaking, acting, staging and more! Huge thank you to our school Chaplain, Mark Montgomery, and music teacher, Lewis Harris for all their hard work, time and energy on this performance! A job well-done to all!

3rd graders explored the water cycle by creating it in a bottle. Students could clearly see evaporation, condensation and precipitation in real time. 💦 ☁️ 🌧️ It’s always fun in Mrs Smith’s class!
