We are incredibly proud of our latest recording, "2K+," and would be so grateful if you would consider it or spread the word about a GRAMMY® nomination for "Best Instrumental Composition." The culmination of a remarkable journey, harp ensemble directors Lynnelle Ediger (USA), Claire Jones (UK), and composer Chris Marshall (UK) released the album "2K+" showcasing the combined talents of their respective harp ensembles playing 2,000 plus (2K+) strings: the American Youth Harp Ensemble, the Shenandoah Conservatory Harp Department, and the Claire Jones Harp Ensemble. What makes this project truly extraordinary is the combined talents of 35 extraordinary young concert harpists in Abbey Road's Studio 2, a first in the studio's storied history. Composer Chris Marshall arranged nine bespoke pieces for the collaboration and one original composition, Andalucia, written specifically for this project. We would be so grateful if you helped us spread the word!

Maryland friends,
You are invited to GreenSpring's 2024 Maryland Spring Concert Series. We have a fantastic lineup of world-class soloists, ensembles, and prize-winning young musicians who are the future of music. All concerts are free and will take place in the historic community of Utica, MD, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Please mark your calendar for the first spring concert on Saturday, March 23rd, at 2:00 pm. For this Shenandoah Spotlight, I promise you'll be amazed by the talent and versatility of these young musicians. On Saturday, April 6th, at 2:00 pm, we'll welcome UK-based Claire Jones, the former Royal Harpist to King Charles and renowned composer-percussionist Chris Marshall, back to Utica. In the program's second half, they will be joined by my Shenandoah Conservatory harp students for the US launch of the CD we recorded together in Abbey Road Studios, London, in 2022. The season continues with the dazzling talent of professional flutist Sarah Haines, who will be presenting the "Fantastic Flute" on Sunday, April 14th at 2:00 pm. It concludes with "Fast Fingers and Fancy Footwork" featuring organist and harpist Anna Smith on Sunday, June 16th at 2:00 pm.
The concerts are free! In lieu of tickets, a free-will offering will be collected to support the concert series and GreenSpring's music education programs. Please join us and bring your friends to these memorable concerts.
