🎨 Celebrating Our Young Artists & Community Leaders!

Last month, Catapult Academy students were honored by the City of Sugar Land for their participation in a special public art project celebrating the FIFA games this summer!
⚽🎨
Our students were invited to create soccer-inspired manhole cover designs, which were installed throughout Sugar Land Town Square during the summer. After the FIFA celebrations, these designs will continue their journey and be placed in City parks where local soccer leagues practice, allowing our students’ artwork to remain part of the community.

We are incredibly proud of our students—not only for their artistic talent, but for the opportunity to experience what it means to be young artists contributing to their community.

Through this project, they learned to:
🎨 Work creatively as a team
🤝 Collaborate toward a shared goal
💡 Turn ideas into real-world public art
🗣️ Present and share their creative work
🌟 Use their talents to make their community a better place

A special thank you to the City of Sugar Land and the Department of Public Works for inviting Catapult Academy to be part of this meaningful project and for recognizing our students’ contributions.

At Catapult, we believe art education goes beyond the classroom. We want our students to create, lead, collaborate, and make an impact.

We are so proud to see their artwork become part of the community! ❤️⚽🎨

⚽🎨 Art meets soccer at Sugar Land Town Square!
We are incredibly proud of our Catapult Academy young artists, who partnered with the City of Sugar Land’s Department of Public Works to create four custom manhole cover artworks inspired by the excitement of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
These designs were created for the FIFA World Cup Watch Parties, transforming public spaces into colorful celebrations of creativity, community.
Beyond painting, our students practiced teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and leadership while contributing to a real public art project that will be enjoyed by thousands of visitors.

Thank you to the City of Sugar Land for providing this amazing opportunity for our young artists to share their talent with the community!
