WE’RE BUYING OUR SCHOOLHOUSE! 🥹🌱🏡

Since receiving the keys in 2024, we have assumed the full financial responsibility of caring for, maintaining, and improving this property, knowing that one day, we would make it officially ours.

That day is October 15th. 💚

We’ve launched Help PEAK Put Down Roots to invite our families, friends, former families, local businesses, and community to be part of this HUGE milestone in PEAK’s story. Every donation, every share, and every person cheering us on means more than you know.

We were so lucky to have two of our students bring their fair animals to school today. Vallerie showed her calf,Big Mac. Tee showed his lamb, Lincoln.

The kids got to feed Big Mac a bottle. They were able to feel the differences in wool and cotton. We love when our parents provide these hands on experiences for our students.

This week we learned helping animals just takes compassion and creativity. We made bird feeders using pinecones, sun butter, and birdseed. We hope the birds at PEAK enjoy a tasty treat.

Our Summit and Pinnacle students learned how prosthetics and veterinary medicine work together to help injured animals of all kinds. Students created technical drawings and prototypes of prosthetics to help aquatic animals, chickens, dogs, cats, and parrots.

We loved celebrating Grandparents Day at PEAK! I think it was the best one yet!

Thanks to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so meaningful. We are so grateful for the love and encouragement our grandparents give our students.

Enjoy a few pictures from our celebration.

It may have only been a four-day week, but we packed a lot into it!

Dr. Willa kicked off Rocketry and the kids had so much fun launching straw rockets! 🚀

Timberline learned about Monarch Migration. 🦋

Theater with Houston’s Main Street Theater.

PEAK has its own Global Game Changer. Beck began an aluminum recycling program. ♻️

We also got to Zoom with Mrs.B. The kids shared all the exciting things happening at PEAK. The kids loved seeing and speaking with her.
