Kentucky Sheriff’s Boys & Girls Camp details below!

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is now accepting campers for the Kentucky Sheriff’s Boys & Girls Ranch!

☀️ Camp Details:

Ages: 8–11
Boys Camp: July 6–9
Girls Camp: July 13–16

This is a great opportunity for kids to build confidence, make new friends, and enjoy a fun, structured camp experience alongside law enforcement mentors.

⚠️ Spots are limited and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.

Former University of Kentucky basketball player Jarrod Polson will be conducting a FREE camp on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Farristown Middle School in Berea
All school-aged youth are encouraged to attend
No pre-registration is required
Water, hot dogs and fruit will be provided

The Kids Fishing Derby was a huge success! ☀️🎣 It was great to see a few Kit Carson students out enjoying the fun and making memories!

For Central Kentucky children ages 10–14 who have experienced grief or trauma, Camp Skybound offers a safe and encouraging place to connect, heal, and have fun. 💙

This fully scholarship-funded camp at Bluegrass Christian Camp runs August 3–5 and includes one-on-one mentorship, team-building activities, swimming, kayaking, ziplining, and more!

Families and community partners are encouraged to learn more and share this opportunity with children who may benefit from a supportive summer experience.

Kit Carson Elementary will hold a Special Called SBDM Meeting on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 1:00 PM in the KCE PLC Room.

The preliminary agenda includes opening business, policy review, budget review, student achievement, and new business items, including a new hire report. The council will also discuss the 2nd reading and adoption of the Promotion and Retention Policy.
