TimberNook is about setting the stage to inspire an amazing play experience. We set up an enticing space with different materials, tell a story and then… play.
Self directed. Adults step back. We let kids solve their problems, figure things out, create, build, get messy and so much more.

We had a great play session inspired by St. Patrick’s Day. This is what we do at Timbernook.
Curate materials. Set them up to entice play and spark creativity. Have a story and theme and then let the kids run with it.
It makes for incredibly deep, inspired play—which I’m turn boosts executive function, problem solving, emotional regulation, motor skills and so much more.

We had a blast at the Summer Camp Expo today.
Kids played the with simplest of materials—sticks, balls, blocks, pine cones, tubes and a few other things and literally had a ball!
Our camps are open for registration—come join us for a summer of tinkering, playing, running in the woods, swinging, fort building and so much more!
