💃Three years ago, Virginia Tango opened its doors with a simple goal: to create a place where people could learn authentic Argentine tango and find a community they wanted to be part of.

Since then, we’ve welcomed first-time dancers, celebrated countless milestones, watched friendships grow, and shared so many unforgettable evenings together! None of it would’ve been possible without every student, every member, and every person who has walked through our doors.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Your enthusiasm, trust, and support have shaped Virginia Tango into the community it is today.

We hope you’ll celebrate this milestone with us on Sept 19th. Whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or you’re just discovering tango, we’d love to share the evening with you.

One of our favorite parts of the Virginia Tango community is celebrating the journey together. ❤️

As you continue dancing with us, you’ll have opportunities to collect commemorative beads that celebrate milongas, special adventures, and milestones along the way. Each one tells a little piece of your tango story! The orange one pictured here is to commemorate summer 2026 together!

More beads are on the way, and we can’t wait to add more to your bracelet. Don’t have a bracelet and want to start collecting? Ask at your next class or event!

Whether you’re just beginning with our Super Beginner Easy Start Course or you’ve been dancing with us for years, there is always something new to look forward to at Virginia Tango.

🕺💃 Studio Space Available Again!

We have studio space available again! 🎉

At Virginia Tango Studio, we know how hard it can be to find a place to teach when you’re just starting out. We went through the same thing ourselves — we started with a small group of students and, after two and a half years, we were able to open our own studio.

That’s why we’d love to offer our space to other dance teachers who are growing their own communities.

We currently have 15 hours of studio time available for teachers of:

🎷 Swing
🎺 Jazz
💃 Salsa
🕺 Bachata
🌍 Kizomba
🔥 Hip Hop
…and other dance styles!

If you already have a group of students but don’t have your own space yet, this could be the place where your group keeps growing.

We know how important that first space can be — because we started exactly the same way. ❤️

🍁Fall is coming to Virginia Tango!

September is full of opportunities to dance, learn, and spend time with our community.

➡️ Our next Super Beginner Easy Start Course begins on September 10th. If you have been curious about tango, this is a wonderful place to start. The course is designed specifically for complete beginners, and over three relaxed evenings you’ll learn the fundamentals in a welcoming environment while meeting some wonderful people along the way.

➡️ Saturdays are for dancing.

Join us at our next Milonga on August 29th. Whether you are ready to stay for the evening or would like to join the beginner pre-milonga class first, we would love to have you with us.

September is a great month to try something new, you’re invited to come dance with us. We think you’ll find much more than tango.💜
