Ms. Washington invited Applied Skills up to her classroom to be testers for their adaptive toys. The kids loved it!! And it’s always awesome to see the programs finding ways to embrace inclusion.

This is beauty, this is love, this is dedication. Today was one of the hardest days that we have had at school this year. And trust me when I say we’ve had A LOT of hard days this year. And yet, here, at the end of the day, are paras smiling and playing with our students, giving of themselves even when they have NOTHING left to give. And maybe you would say…that’s what they get paid to do, but that’s not WHY any of them are here. Trust me when I tell you they don’t get paid nearly enough. They are here for these kiddos, because they love them, because they want them to learn, because they want them to be able to experience life to the fullest. I cannot thank them enough for all they do!
