Kyle Jacobs, a 26-year-old man from Richmond, Virginia, overcame foster care, abuse, and homelessness to earn his bachelor’s degree in Agriculture with honors from Virginia State University in 2022. His perseverance earned him a full scholarship to Columbia University for a master’s in Sustainability Management. 🎓❤️

Loretta Watson changed the life trajectory of so many young girls/women in the east end of Richmond. I always smiled when I had her girls in my class because they were community leaders at a young age. They are still the heartbeat of Richmond today thanks to her. She is a true inspiration.
