What an incredible way to wrap up the school year! 🎉☀️

Our End of Year Celebration was filled with fun, laughter, community, and so many amazing vendors who helped make the day extra special for our students and families. From activities and treats to music and smiles all around, it was a day to remember!

A HUGE shoutout to our phenomenal staff for all of the planning, organizing, setup, support, and heart that went into making this event such a success. Your dedication to our school community never goes unnoticed, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you. ❤️ We are especially thankful to Dawn Tyler for the hard work she put into making this event making it enjoyable for all staff, students, and parents.

Our 6th graders took learning beyond the classroom and onto the water with an unforgettable paddling adventure on the James River! 🌊🚣‍♀️

Students explored the natural beauty of our local environment while building teamwork, confidence, and outdoor skills. From navigating the currents to spotting wildlife along the riverbanks, it was a day full of discovery, laughter, and hands-on learning.

Experiences like these remind us that some of the best lessons happen outside, where curiosity leads the way! 💙

Student’s in our 7th grade TAG program met in person after testing to engage in hands on robotics! The students were all shown how to use Hummingbird robotics kits alongside hands on materials to engineer a robotic animatronic from scratch. The students are taking their kits home with them for two weeks to work in a hybrid environment getting help virtually in class. Huge thanks to HEF for funding this grant project!
