Skyler Scholars

As part of our Skyler Scholars program, students in grades four through eight engaged with a lone soldier in the Israeli Army who brought them into his experience of defending the Jewish people, training with rigor and discipline, and welcoming Shabbat on an Israeli army base through song and shared connection.

Moments like these reflect RTA’s commitment to meaningful Jewish learning, peoplehood, and helping students connect learning to lived experience.
