Barbara Kent, Director of EKU Office of Military and Veterans Affairs, along with EKU Student Veteran Association President Alex Weldon and Whitney Worden-Baroni, were honored to present Valentine’s cards made by Model Laboratory School First Graders for the residents of Thomson Hood Veterans Center. Mark Bowman, Executive Director, Office of Kentucky Veterans Centers, and Gretchen Stidom, Assistant Administrator at Thomson-Hood were there to greet us and provided the photos of the veterans with their cards and EKU t-shirts and hats.

Thank you, Ms. Kelli Sims and Mrs. Beth Gannon, and your Model first graders for their hard work in making these very special Valentine’s Day cards and providing joy and happiness to those who have served our nation so honorably!
