Hello everyone! Long time no see from me!
Although I am not taking on new private lesson students at the moment, I have taken a very exciting opportunity. I will be teaching two evening group class at Wellspring Homeschool Community! This is open to area homeschoolers!! If you are a homeschooled and have been waiting to take lessons with me, this is a great opportunity!🎶🎶

WELLSPRING MUSIC LESSONS | wellspring Volunteer duty: A parent/guardian will need to remain on site during the 45-minute lesson and will be scheduled for classroom helper duties on one or more of the days classes meet, depending upon the number of registered students.

Long time no see! You haven’t heard much from me recently and that’s because I was a little busy marrying the love of my life!!🤍🎶
You all have been the sweetest during this season and so cooperative with my lesson scheduling during such a hectic time.

Sadly, with this happy news comes a sad announcement….

A lot of good things have happened at once! Not only am I now married but I was offered a new job! Lessons aren’t my only thing. During the day, I have a career in Senior Living Activities! After months of prayer and reevaluating things, I recently accepted a new position that will allow me to grow in the speciality of Memory Care, which is a goal I’ve had for a while now as the Lord has revealed this ministry to me. I am now the Memory Care Life Enrichment Director for a local assisted living!

Unfortunately, this comes with new hours and a different work commute.

I have had to make the difficult choice of putting my lesson studio on hold for the time being until I settle into my new routine in my work role and as a wife. This was far from easy and certainly has broken my heart. But I know that God isn’t done with this yet!

I hope to be back soon! Lessons bring me such joy and I want to keep that in my life (and they still will be…. you’ll hear how soon😉). Getting to know your children has been such a blessing in my life, watching them grow has been a treat. This studio of mine is growing in ways I didn’t expect and I can’t wait to share how even with this change of plan, the Lord is using this talent of mine for His glory!

Let’s talk RECORDER!🎼🎼

Recorder gets a bad reputation because of its “squeaking”…. But what if I told you it’s NOT supposed to sound like that?
A lot of parents overlook Recorder because of it being known as “annoying” even though it’s the perfect instrument to introduce music with.
🎶Squeaking happens when there is too much air being used to play. In a classroom setting, it can be hard to ensure every student understands this and gets the hang of it. Recorder is such a great beginner instrument and introduces the child to sheet music! There is so much to learn with Recorder (even if that is hard to believe haha), that if the time needed is spent individually with the student, they can excel at it!
Recorder is the starting point for so many other instruments.
I offer One-On-One lessons to ensure each student gets the proper instruction and focus they need. Perfect for ages 5 & Up!

Private lessons are just the way to go!

I will NOT be providing lessons from APRIL 28th-MAY 7th! I will be back doing lessons on MAY 8th! Reasoning? I am getting MARRIED! The upcoming weeks are full of excitement and I appreciate the kind words and your cooperation with my scheduling! PARENTS: I am offering the option of longer lessons (1 hour instead of 30 min) during the week prior if you prefer your child not go without a lesson. Thank you, everyone!
