On February 10 for two hours Snead Hall’s Corporate Education classroom was ablaze with enthusiastic conversation about the business to business sales profession. VCU’s spring 2020 cohort of students, 65 of them, met with approximately 30 industry professionals – regional and district sales leaders, talent acquisition leaders, and sales representatives. Those professionals represented sixteen companies across multiple industries – heavy equipment rental, HR and payroll processing, insurance and financial services, supply chain and logistics services, business and financial software, and more.
Why? Jobs, internships, and careers!
The event was hosted by VCU’s Academy of Selling (https://rampages.us/vcu-sales-academy/, go.vcu.edu/academyofselling. Participating also were student leaders of Pi Sigma Epsilon, VCU’s chapter of the national, collegiate sales fraternity.

And now, as they near graduation, most agree that they never dreamed the Academy would put them in the position of having to choose among multiple job offers.
