Pemberton Elementary School

On behalf of Pemberton, we wish everyone a fantastic summer! We are already looking ahead and are excited for another Musical next year!

We are excited to celebrate our 5th graders tonight! This morning they did STEM/Science rotations with our ILC. They coded and even built a roller coaster to support a marble.

Made some great memories at Pemberton’s 2026 Field Day. A HUGE thank you to Ms. Sponsler and all our volunteers who make this day happen and run seamlessly.

Our Kindergarten orientation was so much fun tonight! Our soon to be Kindergarteners got to tour the school, check out a school bus, and even meet Perry Penguin. We are so excited to have you all at Pemberton next school year.

Happy National School Nurse day to our very own Nurse G! Thank you for establishing such strong relationships with our students each and every day.

Congratulations to some very talented and creative 5th grade Penguins!

All Virginia Chorus selected two schools to perform on Saturday. After a full day of practice our girls knocked it out of the park that evening.

Another Penguin was chosen to represent Pemberton in the Central Virginia Fine Arts show.

We are so proud of everyone! Thank you to Mrs. Fennessey and Mrs. Rossi for their dedication to all of our students.

On Wednesday, April 28, 2026 Principal Slater was awarded the Principal Power Partner of the Year award by Henrico County Council of PTA's. Mr. Slater was recognized for his support of our PTA, students, teachers and families. Thank you Mr. Slater for all you do!

This month our Penguins participated in two different art shows. The first show is still hanging at the Tuckahoe Library until April 27, and the second show was this weekend at Hermitage High School. Congratulations to the artists whose work was featured. See the link below for some highlights!
