EKU Center for Educator Excellence The Center is located on the Eastern Kentucky University campus in Richmond, KY.

With a focus on cutting-edge approaches and research-backed strategies, the Center offers a dynamic range of programs designed to inspire and equip P-12 instructors with the tools needed to drive meaningful change in their classrooms. Hey AP Educators! Let’s set up for an incredible school year ahead.

As you transition from summer planning back into the classroom, here are 2 quick tips to keep in your back pocket to help your students thrive:

🗺️ Pace with AP Classroom: Use the Unit Guides and progress checks early and often. They are perfect for keeping pacing on track and catching learning gaps before they grow.

🤝 Build a Community First: AP courses are rigorous, but students excel when they feel safe to fail. Focus on building a supportive, collaborative classroom culture in the first few weeks.
