We Had a Roaring Good Time at the Swamp Romp!

Yesterday, our library was filled with dinosaurs, smiles, and a lot of fun as we celebrated the students who participated in our Dinosaur Summer Reading Incentive! Students in grades 1st – 5th who took part in the program were invited to our "Swamp Romp" celebration, where we recognized their hard work and dedication to reading over the summer. We are so proud of all of our young readers for making reading a part of their summer adventure!

📚✨ 1st Grade Field Trip to Nippersink Public Library! ✨📚
What a GREAT time our first graders had at the library! We got to explore all the different parts of the library, learn about the many resources available to us, and even got our very own library cards! 📖💙
And did you know…you can check out fishing poles 🎣 AND metal detectors! 🕵️‍♀️ How cool is that?!
We had so much fun learning that the library is so much more than just books! A huge thank you to the Nippersink Public Library for welcoming our classes and making our visit so special! ❤️📚

📚💙 Buddy Reading Fun! 💙📚
Mrs. Lavelle’s 1st grade class had a special visit with their 4th grade buddies from Mrs. Nieft’s class! Our 1st graders were so excited to read to their 4th grade friends and share their growing reading skills. 📖
We loved spending time together, building friendships, and celebrating the joy of reading! What a special buddy day! 🥰📚
