A beautiful tribute to our Mothers on Mother’s Day from the Tazewell Music Club, Sunday, May 10, 2026 at Main Street United Methodist Church, thank you. Kevin Matheson (violin) and Harold Brown (piano) treated us in celebration of National Music Week through the National Federation of Music Clubs. “Music…is our Constant Companion” set the tone through Beethoven, Debussy, Dvorak, Ravel and Waxman. What a lovely afternoon and a delicious reception!

Caleb Perkins, Appalachian Agency for Senior Citizens introduces May’s Storybook Walking Trail in downtown Richlands, Friday, May 1, 2026 in celebration of Older Americans Month theme “Champion Your Health.” Enjoy stories and pictures as you walk the trail provided by Richlands Community Central nutrition site members, AASC adult day center participants and AASC employees. Take a walk around town to champion your health as you read the different ideas presented in partnership with Appalachian Agency for Senior Citizens (AASC), Tazewell County Public Library and the Town of Richlands.
