Stephen Pace Kimbrough
Stephen Pace Kimbrough, age 80, of Kimbrough, Georgia, passed away on August 19, 2026. He was born on August 6, 1946, in Americus, Georgia, to Edgar Love Kimbrough II and Anna Waddey Kimbrough.
Steve was a 1964 graduate of Richland High School. He proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era from 1967-1973. Following his military service, he dedicated 25 years of faithful service to the United States Postal Service before retiring.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Kathy Meadows Kimbrough. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Love Kimbrough II and Anna Waddey Kimbrough, his brother Edgar Love Kimbrough III, and his brother-in-law Ronald Stevens.
Left to cherish his memory and carry on his legacy are his three daughters, Jessica Arnold, Stephani (Murry) Gunderson, and Kristin (Ronald) DeLaney; and his six grandchildren, Olivia, Katelyn, Emily, Kyndal, Annalise, and Weston. He is also survived by a very special niece, Tracy (Kelly) Holbrook; his brother Jon (Lynda) Kimbrough; his sister Gay Stephens; his sister-in-law Gayle Kimbrough; and numerous nieces and nephews who he deeply loved and enjoyed spending time with.
Steve especially cherished summers spent with his daughters, nieces and nephews, teaching them how to drive a stick shift, operate a tractor, and learn the ways of the peach stand business.
Steve will be remembered for his strong work ethic, devotion to family, and the love he shared so generously with those around him. His presence, guidance, and steady spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A private celebration of life will be held a later date. His final resting place will be at the Kimbrough Home Place Family Cemetery.
