Fusion Learning students have been working all year with the Benton Conservation District to learn about the Salmon in the Classroom Program. They volunteer each week to clean tanks and check on fish at Marcus Whitman Elementary, Christ the King School, Lewis and Clark Elementary and the Richland Public Library.
In class, we have been covering biology, Washington State History, ELA and Sociology with a focus on our salmon, their development, and their importance to the people and history of our area. Students will put their learning to good use next month when they help with the Salmon Summit for all the participating BCD Salmon in the classroom schools.
Happy trails and best of luck to our Salmon!

Is there a better way to learn about elections than to actually conduct your own? Students in US Government class at REHS learned about elections, voting and running for office by conducting our school's Associated Student Body elections with real results that matter to students! Congratulations to our newly-elected ASB officers and a great big thank-you to staff and students for participating!
