Team Sacy representing at Richland School District’s Field Day last week. This is an annual event each spring where student athletes with disabilities take the field and are joined by our whole community to raise awareness, celebrate strengths and build relationships and memories.

Tonight we had the opportunity to meet all of our incoming kindergarteners! Thank you to our newest Sacy Trailblazers (and their important grown-ups 😊) for coming and spending the evening at Sacajawea! We are already excited for this crop of kids and a new year of learning! 🚌📚✏️

Tonight is the night! We can’t wait to meet our incoming kindergartners and their important grown-up! 5:30pm

Please note this event is intended only for the incoming kindergartener and an adult from home. It is not an event for older siblings. Thanks!

Kindergarten Round Up is TONIGHT!

This special event is for you, the parent/guardian, and your upcoming kindergartener for the 2025-26 school year. Join in the fun at *your boundary school* on Wednesday, May 13 at 5:30 p.m. To locate your boundary school, visit www.rsd.edu/families/school-boundaries.

You can start the kindergarten registration process at www.rsd.edu/kinder or we will have stations available at Round Up with Chromebooks to register online.

Other items needed to complete the registration process and place your student in a classroom are:
- a copy of your child's birth certificate
- current immunizations
- proof of residence (utility bill or purchase/lease agreement)

As a reminder, to enroll your child in kindergarten they must turn 5 by August 31, 2026.

There will be no school on Friday, May 22.

May 22 was built into the district calendar as a potential snow day. Since we did not need to use any snow days this winter, students and staff will enjoy an extra-long Memorial Day weekend.

Being recognized among the Top 3 of Best Elementary Schools in the region for three consecutive years has been incredibly humbling for our staff and truly reflects the strength of our amazing school community.
