The Shawn Matherly Farrier page is to share and educate clientele and peers with photos and videos of examples and work that has been done on various horses. Sometimes good feet as well as sometimes problem footed horses so that we can learn and improve for the greater good of the horse. Different products and applications will be discussed and shared with photos and also, slow motion video which
is very beneficial to see the movement of the horse and the effects of the shoeing applications. Shawn has worked with some of the top Farriers in the Industry, including David Farley, James Gilchrist, Tim Cable, Ernest Woodward, and others throughout his career. Continuous education is crucial and being a very active member in the AAPF (American Association of Professional Farriers) has ensured his knowledge and growth has increased year after year. Shawn has attended and given clinics around the US as well as overseas to add to his experience.
