Not only was Ms. Abeer chosen as our Teacher of the Year, but she was also selected as our Regional Teacher of the Year, and we are so excited for her. Ms. Abeer embodies the heart of what it means to be an educator and a supportive member of a school community. Today at pick up, we will have cookies and punch to celebrate Ms. Abeer and this special honor.

We're excited to celebrate incredible student achievement in our program! Out of 39 students assessed for kindergarten readiness, 92% are currently scoring at "ready" or "advanced ready."

This success reflects the hard work of our students and the dedication, consistency, and high-quality instruction provided by our teachers. We are proud of the growth happening across our classrooms and grateful for the support from families that helps make this possible.

Our students were hard at work at Kids Cafe this week. This week students made fruit kabobs and learned about kitchen safety.

As we wrap up 2025 and enter into 2026, we wanted to take moment to look back at our successful 2025. We welcomed 63 new students into our Children's Garden family! We implemented a new library system that allows students and parents to check out books, and we continue to add new books to our library every month. Our families raised and donated the most money we've ever raised for our St. Jude Trike-a-thon, donating right at $16,000 to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and placing us in 2nd place for all Cadence schools across the U.S. We held a Christmas in July and a giving tree in December with everything donated going to Mirror Minitries. We collected two vehicles full of food in November to be dontated to My Friend's Place/Safe Harbor teen shelter. We also had two successful book fairs allowing our classrooms to be restocked with updated books. We held graduation and move-up celebrations, and we had to say goodbye to our students that aged out of our program and those that headed for new schools, we hope they are doing amazing with their new adventures! We "traveled" America during our summer program as kids learned about certain states and U.S. history. Some of our students participated in our first ever Kids Cafe! We hosted a fun filled back to school night, grand friends' day, field trips, including our yearly pumpkin patch field trip and ended with our annual winter fest. Just to name a few of the highlights from 2025! Thank you again for all your support. We appreciate you and we look forward to making more memories in the year to come.
