The Little Things 🤍

Sometimes it’s the big moments we remember most.

The first cry.
The first time you see baby’s face.
The moment parents realize, “We did it.”

But sometimes it’s the little things, too.

A hand being held during a contraction.
A quiet moment between pushes.
A partner whispering encouragement.
A newborn curled up peacefully on mom’s chest.

Those little moments are a huge part of why we love what we do. 🤍

✨ Breastfeeding is so much more than nutrition. ✨

Breastfeeding is comfort after a hard day, warmth in the middle of the night, reassurance in a brand-new world, and connection that goes far beyond milk.

While breastfeeding is natural, it isn’t always easy. It can take time, patience, support, and practice—for both mom and baby. Every feeding is a learning experience, and every family’s journey looks a little different.

Whether you’re exclusively breastfeeding, pumping, supplementing, or finding your own path, we’re here to support you through those first latch attempts, growth spurts, cluster feeding, and all the questions in between. ❤️

🤍A Little Update From Me… 🤍

If you’ve noticed we’ve been a little quiet on social media lately, you’re right! While our page has been resting, we’ve been doing what we love most—caring for growing families, catching babies, and walking alongside parents through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

To every family who has trusted Natural Care Midwifery over the years—thank you. Caring for this community is one of the greatest blessings of my life.

Today, I get to share something especially close to my heart.

Many of you already know my daughter, Nicole. For the past 2½ years, she has been serving alongside me as a student midwife, caring for families and preparing for this next chapter. In just the next couple of months, she’ll be sitting for her Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) board exam. Once she passes, she will officially join Natural Care Midwifery as a midwife.

As her mom, I couldn’t be prouder. As a midwife, I couldn’t be more excited to welcome her into this work that has meant so much to me for so many years.

I’m incredibly grateful that our practice will continue as a mother-daughter team, caring for families with the same relationship-centered, compassionate approach you’ve come to know and trust.

We’re excited to be back on social media to share more with you, and to continue serving this wonderful community for years to come.
