The roller coaster ride that was the 2026 softball season for the Madison Rams was one that won't soon be forgotten.

I told Jake she should be #1. You know why?!?! Because she should be #1. That's coming eventually I believe. She's really an unbelievable player and such a great kid. I love watching her do her thing. Congrats Clap!!

Despite an injury-filled sophomore season, Caliyah Clapper still earned first team All-Ohio honors and was named No. 3 in the Richland 200.

Jeff was my Jv coach for a couple of years. He was a longtime assistant at Madison in the softball program prior to me going there and was the head coach for a year in 2007. He was a longtime assistant and jr hi basketball coach as well. He was also the head softball coach at Fredricktown and coached jr hi football there for a number of years and we played each other when I was at Lucas. More than anything though, he was a teacher friend and helped me out when I started at Madison. The month of July... dang man.

3 Lady Rams rolling up today. #90 Izzy Wamsley, #89 Lexi Lewis and #86 Allie Shrader.

You either have it, or you don't. And the athletes coming in at Nos. 81-90 of the Richland 200 absolutley have it. It's star power.
