Hey everyone!
Our meeting on March 28th will be our elections for the officers for next semester. If you are interested in becoming an officer, please let Adrian know so we can efficiently hold the elections. We need at least four officers to remain a club after this semester!!!
Other than the elections, we will also be discussing the Bone Marrow Registry Drive that is being held on March 2nd, this Friday. We would appreciate if you could volunteer to help work during this event.
As a final reminder, next week we will be having the biweekly Spanish meeting. We highly encourage members to attend these meetings, even if you are a bit rusty with Spanish.

Hey everyone!
This is just a reminder that our next meeting will be on February 7th (Wednesday) from 11a.m. to approximately 1p.m. in Floyd 136D.
Jeanna Moore from bethematch.org will be on campus to go over details for our bone marrow registry drive. This meeting will be from 11a.m. - 12p.m. for the info needed for the bone marrow registry meeting. We ask that you please attend this meeting so that you can help with the drive on March 2nd.
This meeting will also be the start of the bi-weekly Pre-Health Club Spanish Meetings where we will meet up and practice our skills in Spanish in a casual environment. This a a great opportunity for us to better serve our patients by being able to speak in a language that they might be more comfortable with.
If you are interested in participating in the Spanish meetings we recommend that you download Duolingo on your phone to practice learning Spanish. It is a free app, easy to use, and effective if you put the effort into it.

Everyone should call Dan Newhouse and urge him to say no to this disgraceful bill. Even if you don't support the ACA surely you don't support cutting funding for sick children or damning them to a life without health coverage because they were born sick, or as the republicans like to call it "born with a pre-existing condition".
Say "No" to the American Health Care Act - Email your U.S. House Representative
In its current form, the American Health Care Act fails our nation’s kids and is a significant threat to children’s health. Limiting future funding will erode children’s coverage, benefits and access to care in Medicaid. ' A single child losing access to health care is unacceptable, and if this legi...
