Today in the Wine Science Center: SO2 extension seminar hosted by Idaho Wine Commission and Washington Winegrowers. Presentations from V&E faculty include chemistry & analysis of SO2, practical applications in winemaking and microbial effects of SO2.

WSU Blended Learning wines presented at spring release party | WSU News | Washington State University RICHLAND, Wash. – A dinner event introducing new wines from the WSU Blended Learning student-made wine program is slated for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, at Budd’s Broiler in Richland, Wash. The public is invited to attend.

Today in the Wine Science Center: A visit from Urban Sketchers Tri-City. Each week this group of artists selects a community space or event to serve as inspiration for their art.

Research interns extract seed and skin from 2015 and 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon grapes to measure tannins.

Scott Gundersen's amazing portrait of Chas Nagel has been installed in the Ste. Michelle Wine Estates WSU Wine Science Center! Scott spent a few day in the Tri-Cities last September putting together this incredible piece of art, using only wine corks!
