Music Together Tri-Cities

Music Together Tri-Cities Music Together® is a research-based, fun-filled, early childhood music program for children birth through age 5, and their parents or caregivers.

Each weekly Music Together® class is 45 minutes of jam-packed music making. Included with tuition are two take-home CDs (one for your house and one for the car!), access to the online Music Together Family Music Zone, and a beautiful illustrated songbook. The classes are family-style, meaning that parents and caregivers attend WITH their children in mixed-age classes. No need for a babysitter, bri

Let’s talk about our amazing SONGBOOKS! 🙌🎵 Every family enrolled in Music Together takes home a beautifully illustrated songbook each semester.

These books are loved by the children and families in our classes. Not only are the pictures imaginative and engaging, they include all the lyrics of the songs, an introduction to reading music, and create opportunities like this one—to sit and sing together as a family. What could be better?! 😍

Towards the end of every Mixed Age Family Class everyone participations is our weekly jam session. We bring out a variety of instruments and just have fun making music together! (You should hear the squeals when the instrument basket comes out!!!)

The “play along song” is not only a blast, but also intentional. During the play along song:

🎵 kids are able to experiment with beat, rhythm, and sounds…they PLAY!

🎵 grownups are able to relax and unwind…they PLAY!

🎵 teachers are able to watch and observe…they PLAY!

🎵 the entire class comes together, making music as a group…through PLAY!

The jam session gives us all a chance to be creative, have fun, and playfully come together to make music. It’s a beautiful part of our weekly routine! 🎉

We had such a great time singing at the TC Dust Devils Highlights game a couple weeks ago. This has been such a fun tradition to add to our summer calendar. ⚾️🧢🏟️

We used the Tree Frog Collection in Rhythm Kids this summer. Using rhythms inspired from the music of Japan🇯🇵, our 4-8 year old students danced and drummed together.

We also named our stuffed tree frog mascot— introducing Snatz Farkland!

One sweet student of mine gifted me a tree frog Perler bead creation on the last day of class, complete with this sweet note. This spunky girl has been in my classes since she was born, and is heading into kindergarten this year. I sure cherish the relationships I have in my life through sharing music with your families. 🥰

Hi! 👋 I’m Jana, owner and primary instructor at Music Together Tri-Cities, and thats’s me, hauling the drums and all the music fun in my red wagon!

I’ve been teaching young children music in the Tri-Cities for a DECADE (crazy!!!) and couldn’t love it more.

🎵 I love hearing babies sing their first notes.

🎵I love watching toddler’s find the beat as we dance and play.

🎵 I love when our bigger Rhythm Kids shout out “Forte!” and whisper “piano” and make me laugh with their hilarious ideas.

But one of the things I absolutely love most? Watching the GROWNUPS in our classes joyfully join in with their children and our music community, with smiles on their faces and songs in their hearts. 💕

✨YOU are the magic for me, and YOU are the magic for your little one.✨

📣 Calling all 4-8 year old music kids! Join us in Rhythm Kids this fall! Rhythm Kids is a high-energy music, movement and drumming class where we:

• learn musical concepts
• dive deep into rhythm and beat
• encourage student creativity and ideas
• dance, play, fly, and jam!

🪘We have space in our Monday 1:00pm class this fall, which is perfect for morning Pre-K or homeschoolers. If you have a curious and creative 4 to 8 year old, we want them in Rhythm Kids!
