The staff votes are in, here are the winners for the 2026 RCL Bookmark Design Contest! Congrats to Jehnsen, Tanteera, and Adele for their winning designs, and thanks to everyone who participated. It was certainly hard to choose, we have such talented patrons!

The designs have been sent to the printers, so stay tuned for the arrival of these exclusive RCL bookmarks! 😊

Bestselling author and Comstock native Bonnie Jo Campbell returns to close out our Fall 2026 Meet Michigan Author series.

Bonnie Jo's newest book "The Spirits" is a gritty, contemporary story inspired by the classic Christmas Carol.

This past week in Adult Programming...

Monday & Tuesday we crafted and painted vintage-inspired Halloween decor from plastic jack-o-lantern buckets.

On Thursday we had the honor of hearing from Dianna Stempfler, who literally wrote the book on Michigan's Haunted Lighthouses. We were thoroughly fascinated and spooked!

Stop by TODAY and play some outdoor games- 12-2:30 PM!

We have a ton of oversized and lawn games available in the Village Square. Stop by and play some. All of the games are available in our Library of Things collection to be checked out and taken home.
