During Sensory Friendly Hours, lighting and sound levels are adjusted to help create a calmer museum experience for visitors who may benefit from reduced sensory stimulation.

The Children's Developmental Center is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join our team and help us keep doing what we do best: supporting children and families in our community.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves the details of nonprofit finance. Some of the responsibilities include month-end close, audit prep, grant accounting, GAAP and HIPAA compliance, and partnering with our Executive Director on financial strategy.

What we are looking for:
✔️ Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field
✔️ 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
✔️ Strong GAAP knowledge; nonprofit and grant accounting experience preferred
✔️ CPA or CMA a plus

The details:
In Richland, On-site, Monday–Friday
$34.62–$42.31/hour ($72,000–$88,000 annualized), non-exempt
Mission-driven team doing meaningful work

This weekend, we got the chance to chat with families at the third annual Our Autism Journey - Better Together. We are always thrilled to be invited back each year. This event is a great way to share about the resources that we offer in Benton and Franklin Counties. We were joined by more than 100 organizations, professionals, and companies supporting the Tri-Cities Autism Coalition.

Runners, mark your calendars! Friday, June 5, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. is the Terra Blanca Wine Run 5K! Donations from this event support the Children’s Developmental Center.

Right now, the cost is $30 to sign up for the run. The price increases after April 23.
