What is a learning club?

A learning club is a small group of students that will meet together weekly during our 6 week summer session. During each 45 minutes club meeting we will engage in fun educational activities and games that will keep those reading and math skills fresh over the summer months. ✏️🎨🖌️📚☀️✂️📏📕

Learning clubs are for students who have completed K4-4th grade and will be in Kindergarten-5th grade next school year.

For our lower elementary clubs we will focus on phonemic awareness, sight words, writing, and reading comprehension. We will also focus on math facts, telling time, patterns, geometry, place value and other important math concepts.

For our upper elementary clubs we will focus on reading comprehension, writing/grammar, listening and problem solving skills. We will also review math facts, computation skills, fractions, story problems and other key concepts.

Having a dedicated weekly time focused on these important skills will keep them sharp and make the transition back to school in the fall a little bit easier.

Kindergarten teacher and private school preschool teacher. Currently I am homeschooling my kiddos and have been for the past 4 years.
My online summer learning clubs are such a great way to keep your child’s reading and math skills growing during summer vacation! Using Zoom, we will engage in some fun lessons and songs to keep our knowledge fresh and ready for a successful school year.
