This week, NATEC experienced the profound loss of its founder and Chief Executive Officer, Phillip Jackson. Phillip was an extraordinarily accomplished and dedicated instructor, leader, and public servant whose decades of service in education and training had a lasting and far-reaching impact. Through his unwavering commitment, he trained countless students from around the world in tactical medicine and related disciplines. The knowledge and skills he imparted have impacted innumerable lives and will continue to do so for many years to come.
Under Phillip’s leadership, NATEC evolved beyond the scope of a traditional organization and became a cohesive professional community grounded in shared purpose and mutual respect. His passing represents a significant loss to NATEC and to the many individuals whose lives and careers he influenced.
While we mourn this sudden and unexpected loss, NATEC remains resolute in its commitment to preserving and advancing Phillip Jackson’s legacy by continuing the work he began. We are taking all necessary steps to ensure operational continuity during this period and remain fully committed to delivering the highest standard of training to our students. At this time, we do not anticipate any changes to our upcoming class schedules.
The NATEC staff is deeply grateful for the warmth, compassion, and support received from colleagues, partners, and members of this community across the state and abroad during this difficult time.

Faithful Guardian Training Center is proud to announce our partnership with NATEC — the National Association of Tactical Educators and Consultants.

Through this collaboration, NATEC has been designated as the Preferred Provider for FGTC’s Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) and Tactical Medic courses, ensuring our students receive nationally recognized, evidence-based tactical medical training built on operational excellence.

This partnership expands FGTC’s reach and relevance across the tactical medicine community, connecting our programs with NATEC’s network of educators, field experts, and agencies nationwide. Together, we are strengthening our mission to prepare responders who perform with skill, confidence, and integrity in every environment.
