The Richland School District Foundation is seeking to fill a vacancy on its Board of Directors. The selected candidate will serve the final three years of a five-year term made vacant due to a resignation.

The Foundation aids educational activities, programs, and projects in the Richland School District. Each year the Foundation administers several scholarships given to RCHS seniors and serves as a vehicle through which individuals or organizations can establish scholarships. The Foundation also sponsors arts-related activities for students.

Dress days this week!

Lincoln, Jefferson, and Doudna Elementary Schools will be participating in some fun dress up days while we celebrate reading. Reading to your children, and with your children is the most crucial thing parents can do at home to increase literacy skills and help students become fluent readers. We love how books can inspire imaginations, take us to new places, and feed our curiosities.

Reminder: Early Release at 1:00 at Lincoln tomorrow(Thursday, March 4th). No School on Friday, March 5th due to teacher inservice.

Lincoln Elementary School will be hosting 4K and Early Childhood Screening the week of March 22nd. During screening week there will not be classes held for 4K or Early Childhood.

If you, or someone you know, has a child who will be 4 years old on or before September 1st- please call 647-2511 to schedule a 4K screening appointment.

If you, or someone you know, has a child who will be 3 years old on or before September 1st, please call 647-2511 to schedule an Early Childhood screening appointment if you have developmental concerns about the child.

The following Covid Protocols will be followed by all participants:

-One adult per child will be allowed in for screening
-Masks will be required, and can be provided to you if you do not have one.
-All participants will go through a health screening upon entering the building.
