Welcome Back All! If anyone is doing some clean out we could use donations of clean/gently used clothing including clean under garments for size 8/10 and 10/12 boys and girls. Let me know if you have some you can bring to the school.

POST UPDATE:
TIME: 1 to 7 PM for “one stop shopping” for all students to pay fees, complete and turn in forms, school pictures, device pick-up for 7th-12th, and schedule pick-up.

SAVE THE DATE FOR THE SUPER REGISTRATION: TUESDAY, AUGUST 9TH!

We know- Super Registration hasn't always been smooth sailing in the past. But we've gone back to the drawing board (or whiteboard, as the case may be) and we've worked at it. We've emailed experts, consulted oracles, and stayed up all night pounding coffee and dreaming up ways to make it better. In the words of Seneca: “It is a rough road that leads to the heights of greatness.”

There will be more photographers! More staff manning the registration! Improved flow! Fees paid online! Flying monkeys!

(Disclaimer: yes, we have made some embellishments here. There will be no flying monkeys.)

So HEAR YE, HEAR YE! The (*new and improved*) Super Registration will be on TUESDAY, AUGUST 9th. Details to come soon.

We are extremely excited to launch our inaugural youth flag football league this August. This program will be available for incoming 1st through 4th graders throughout the Greater Richland Area. We will divide participants into two levels (Level 1: 1st & 2nd grade, Level 2: 3rd & 4th grade). Games will be played during a 5-week season during the month of August. More information can be found on the flyer. Participants can pay and register online at: https://www.rchornetfootball.com/youth-football.

We are looking for parent volunteers to help coach the fall teams. Prospective volunteers will undergo a background check and receive training and resources at the preseason coaches' meeting. Please reach out to the program director, Chris Clerkin, with any questions you may have. Again, we're very excited to provide this opportunity to our young football players and help them develop a passion for the game!

RCPS is having a special BOGO (Buy One Get One Free) book fair, which is a special reward we get for having such a successful 1st fair!

Families can access the BOGO book fair from after school from 3-4pm today through next Wednesday (May 18th). The BOGO book fair will also be open Thursday, May 19th from 3 - 7pm during the PTO family fun night. See you there!
