We're set up at the band shell for packet pickup and have already checked in 86 runners (by 10:00 am!). Pick up your bib, chip, and shirt today (Fri, 7/25) until 6:00 pm, and tomorrow morning before the race, beginning at 5:45 am until race start. The Richfield Band Shell is next door to the Richfield Ice Arena, 636 E 66th St, and the start line is immediately south of the band shell.

Runners, we’re ready for you! Bib/chip/shirt pickup opens at 8:00 am tomorrow morning (Fri, Jul 24) and runs until 6:00 pm, at the Richfield Band Shell (next to the ice arena: 636 E 66th St) and on Saturday, beginning at 5:45 am (same place) until race start (hm-7:00 am, 5k-7:30 am). Runners can have others pick up on their behalf.

Update from the pre-race email that went out yesterday: lockers are not available inside the arena this year.

We keep registration open right up until race time, now that we assign bibs dynamically (when you pick up your bib).

The weather looks to be agreeable on Saturday, with a forecasted temp of about 70 degrees at race start.

So, if you're feeling like a run this weekend, join us on Saturday, July 25. The half marathon starts at 7:00 am, the 5K at 7:30 am. Register online (link in the comments) and pick up your bib on Friday, July 24, 8:00 am-6:00 pm, or on race day starting at 5:45 am, at the Richfield Band Shell, 636 East 66th Street.

Some of our longtime runners literally live across the street from the start line! Others make long journeys from all over the map. So far this year, our registrants represent 130 cities, 26 states, and three countries (with one runner each from Canada and Japan). One of our first-time runners is coming up from Oklahoma to run the half marathon; this will be state #49 in which they have run a half!

Thanks to everyone, from near and far, for running with us and supporting Wood Lake Nature Center!

We have reached our limit for free youth 5K registrations (we fund the registration with donations and have used all of the donated funds). Thanks for all of your donations that make this program possible and, as always, we look forward to granting more free youth 5K registrations next year!
