There’s something magical about the first snows of the year… especially when the last memorable snowfall was a third of one’s lifetime ago!

We were thrilled to host our first observer of the school year today! The children practiced their Grace & Courtesy lessons, greeting our visitor, "Welcome to our school," and offering fresh apple slices. We love any opportunity to share some peace and invite you to come to calm your chaotic mind in our concentrated work & orderly environment.

Every year we take a pause to refresh, reset, and reorganize for a new group of learners. Every year we think: This is how it should always be! This is perfect! And it's true; for THIS group of children, this is exactly how it needs to be.

Summertime reset in the APMS classroom space. Every time we rearrange, we say "it's perfect", and every time it's true. We have loved the kids eager voices as they rediscover favorite works, and find new interests as well.
