One more sleep until Serv-a-thon! 🐯💚💛

As we prepare for Serv-a-thon Day tomorrow, we're reminding students that service isn't something we do just one day a year. It's a way of living our faith and using the gifts God has given us to make a difference. Our call began at school, grew through our parishes, and now reaches into our local community. Each time we notice a need and choose to respond, we're learning what it means to lead through service.

Tomorrow, our entire school will gather with Big and Little Buddies for a day of faith, friendship, and hands-on service. Together, they'll put into action what they've been learning about leading through service. Our Serv-a-thon also has a fundraising goal of $25,000, supporting the school community where this formation happens every day. If you feel called to be part of this effort, we welcome your support.

🐯Once a Tiger, Always a Tiger! 🐯

Several of our recent BT grads returned to campus today as representatives from their Catholic high schools. The students who now attend Cristo Rey, DeLaSalle, Holy Angels, St. Thomas Academy and Visitation shared their experiences and answered questions about Catholic high school life for our 8th graders. We love to see our BT Tigers continuing their educational journeys and coming back to share their wisdom with the next generation of Tigers!

🐾 A Blessing for All God’s Creatures 🐾

Today, in celebration of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, our Blessed Trinity community gathered for a special Blessing of the Animals! 🐶🐱🐰🐾

St. Francis reminds us to see God’s goodness in all of creation and to care for the people, animals, and world around us with gratitude and love.

There were plenty of wagging tails, happy faces, and beloved pets as we gave thanks for the animals that bring so much joy to our families. ❤️

St. Francis of Assisi, pray for us!
May we always recognize God’s blessings in all creatures, great and small.

The Service Sewing Group is back at their machines once more! 🧵🪡

Led by expert quilter and seamstress Mrs. Kalbfell, these students meet throughout the year to learn not only how to sew, but also donate their completed projects to those in need. This week they worked on quilted coasters for residents in retirement communities. They are learning a lifelong skill and growing their servant hearts one stitch at a time. 💚💛

🦋 Bye Bye Butterflies! 🦋

Second grade released their monarch butterflies in time for their annual migration. Each butterfly was equipped with a special butterfly-safe tracker so that students can track their journey. Mrs. Warmka's monarch unit introduces her students to basic biology concepts, insect life cycles, and the importance of conservation and stewardship to help preserve all of God's creatures. It is fun to see the love and care that each student shows to "their" butterfly!

👏🍝Let's give a big hand to the people who keep our students fed at school! 👏🍝

The team at both buildings, and our weekly Friday pizza provider, American Pie, were presented with a special gift and plenty of gratitude from our students in honor of National Food Service Worker Day last week. These individuals and our volunteers feed our students breakfast and lunch, powering their brains for learning each day!
