This year, Richfield Public Schools is partnering with Achieve Twin Cities to expand career and college support at Richfield High School.

Through this partnership, Gabrielle will join RHS as our new Career & College Coordinator, providing individualized guidance as students explore career pathways, postsecondary opportunities and their plans for life after graduation.

For the past six years, RHS has provided dedicated career and college readiness support to help students explore their options and prepare for life after graduation.

September is Minnesota School Board Recognition Month! 🎉

This month, we’re proud to recognize the dedicated members of the Richfield Public Schools Board of Education and thank them for their service to our students, staff, families and community.

Our elementary students are back! ☀️ Today, we welcomed students in grades PreK-5 for their first day of the 2026-27 school year. Across our elementary schools, classrooms and hallways were once again filled with learning, laughter, first-day excitement and plenty of happy reunions.

Emily Ramirez Gonzalez, a member of our Richfield High School flag football team, has been selected as the Minnesota Vikings nominee for the 2026 NFL Latino Youth Honors!

The NFL Latino Youth Honors recognizes high school seniors across the league’s 32 club markets who have excelled in football, maintained strong academic performance and demonstrated meaningful engagement with Latino culture and community.
Emily is among the student-athletes being considered for this prestigious honor. Eight finalists will be selected, with the national male and female winners each receiving a $25,000 college grant. Six additional finalists will receive $5,000 grants and all eight finalists will be invited to Los Angeles during Super Bowl LXI Week for mentorship, career development opportunities and special events.

Congratulations, Emily! We are proud to see you representing Richfield High School and the Richfield community on this national stage. We’ll be cheering you on!
