Our 5th and 6th grade students wrapped up February Reading Month with a bowling party celebration! πŸŽ³πŸ“š

After a fun and successful month filled with lots (and lots!) of reading, they absolutely earned it. We are so proud of the enthusiasm they showed and the goals they crushed all month long. Watching their excitement for books grow has been the best reward!

A HUGE thank you to Kris Bartz along with classroom teachers Heidi Krank and Kailey Waage for all of their hard work planning activities and making reading fun and engaging for our students. Your creativity and dedication truly made the month special.

And thank you to LaVone Harnisch and our paraprofessionals Gregory, Kim, and Toni for helping make the month a huge success. We appreciate your support, and willingness to jump in and help bring even our craziest ideas to life for the students!

Shout out to Paragon Bowl for an amazing time and for being so flexible and welcoming and to Thrivent for helping make these events possible!

What a fantastic way to celebrate a month of reading! πŸ“–βœ¨

Today Mr. Isaak, Mrs. Mason, and Ralph Weisenberger had the opportunity to take our Sophomore class to the T-4 event at Bismarck State College.

T-4 is an exploration day focused on careers in trades and industry, giving students a firsthand look at the many high-demand, high-skill career paths available beyond a traditional four-year degree. Throughout the day, students were divided into small groups and rotated through four different sessions. In each session, they connected with industry professionals, learned about training pathways, asked questions about real-world job experiences, and participated in hands-on activities that brought each career field to life.

This experience allowed our students to see the value of technical education, apprenticeships, certifications, and two-year programs while discovering options they may not have previously considered. Opportunities like T-4 help students make informed decisions about their futures and better understand the wide range of successful career paths available to them.

A special thank you to Mr. Isaak for his hard work in organizing this outstanding opportunity for our students. Your dedication to creating meaningful, real-world experiences makes a lasting impact, and we are so grateful for all that you do to make these experiences possible for our students.

✨What a fantastic last day before winter break at RTPS! ✨

Our hallways were buzzing with holiday spirit as our principals fully embraced the fun, dressing up as elves and bringing Elf on the Shelf antics to life in creative (and unexpected) ways throughout the building. From clever surprises to lighthearted mischief, it was a great reminder that school can be fun at any age. πŸ§β€β™‚οΈπŸŽ„

The excitement continued with a special visit from Santa, giving students a chance to enjoy one last moment of holiday magic before break. Laughter, smiles, and school spirit filled the day and made for a memorable send-off into winter break. πŸŽ…βœ¨

From all of us at RTPS, we wish our students, families, and staff a happy, safe, and wonderful winter break. Enjoy the time to rest, recharge, and make great memories! We’ll see you in the new year! β„οΈπŸ’™
