RISD Student Artists Shine Statewide!

Richardson ISD is proud to have eight student artists representing our district in the txEDCON TAEA TASA/TASB Student Art Gallery, October 8–11 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston!

This prestigious statewide exhibition celebrates excellence in student visual arts. It allows our students to showcase their creativity, technical skill, and innovation alongside outstanding student artwork from across Texas.

RISDArt Proud! Congratulations to Berkner High School art student Aidan Renedo for earning First Place in the 2026 State Fair of Texas Arts & Crafts Competition in Sculpture – Originals in Clay, Junior Division (B144)!

Aidan’s imaginative ceramic sculpture showcases outstanding creativity, craftsmanship, and artistic voice. Even more exciting, his award-winning artwork will be on display in the Creative Arts Building throughout the State Fair of Texas.
