Our RISD Visual Arts educators recently gathered for the 2026 Summer Mini-Conference: Innovate, Create & Grow! It was a meaningful day of creativity, connection, and professional learning designed to help art teachers recharge their own artistic practice before stepping into the next instructional year.
Teachers participated in hands-on studio experiences, including ceramics, observational painting, and figure drawing from life. The day also included an on-site museum experience at The Warehouse, where educators explored new exhibitions, sketched, discussed curatorial connections, and reflected on ways to bring fresh inspiration back to their students.
We are grateful for our incredible art educators and their continued commitment to creating, growing, and inspiring student artists across Richardson ISD. Richardson ISD Richardson ISD Superintendent
