Our programs empower students with knowledge, leadership, and ethical foundations to succeed in a global society. The mission of the TEXAM University – Dallas (TUD) (Texas American Muslims
University) is to provide Faith-Based competitive educational opportunities and focused
research in all the disciplines of Science and Technology to prepare the professional and
technical workforce and research
needed for economic development of the nation. To
accomplish this mission, the TUD seeks to:
● Creating new standards in higher education
● Create the community of learners making the world better place
● Perform teaching and research that advances knowledge in Islam (Islamic Studies,
Study of Comparative Religions, Islamic Finance, Islamic Philosophy, etc.),
Science and Technology and their applications
● Educate and graduate students who can be knowledgeable leaders in their careers
● Engage in services and outreach to enrich the profession and community at large
In order to accomplish this mission, the TUD will offer the Undergraduate, Graduate, and
PhD degrees in science and technology, and engages in nationally and internationally
recognized research. The TUP goals are:
● Enrich the students with faith-based education
● Provide the graduates of TUD with a well-balanced education and training to
service the industry, the nation, and humanity at large to address the current and
future challenges in science and technology
● Produce graduates of TUD who will possess and maintain high moral and ethical
standards in their practical life
