✨📚 What an inspiring week for !
We were honored to host co-author for a special author visit and presentation across seven elementary schools in Richardson Independent School District. Students were engaged, encouraged, and empowered through the message of Her Own Two Feet — reminding young readers that determination, courage, and education can help them achieve their dreams. 🌟
Thanks to a grant funded by Altrusa International, Inc., every student received their very own signed and autographed copy of the book to take home and treasure. ❤️
Projects like this reflect the heart of Altrusa: promoting literacy, encouraging leadership, and making a lasting impact in our communities — one child, one book, and one journey at a time.

Altrusa Richardson was honored to deliver “Thank You” bags to the incredible teachers and trainers at Ability Connection 💙
Ability Connection is a nonprofit dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through residential care, therapy services, and vocational training empowering them to live more independent and fulfilling lives.
For over 30 years, Altrusa Richardson has proudly supported the Ability House in Richardson, hosting birthday celebrations, holiday gatherings, and community outings for its residents.
These special bags were decorated by the residents themselves and filled with care during our Kindness in Action (KAN) weekend making this gesture even more meaningful.
Small acts of kindness, big impact ✨

Last night, after the Governor’s Banquet, Altrusa Richardson showed how we celebrate! 🎉 We had the honor of hosting an afterparty for our Governor and fellow club member, Kimberly Kierce, and it was such a fun and memorable evening.
Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us. Your energy made the night even more special! And a special shoutout to Thanh Tran for the beautiful party decorations that brought it all together. 💙✨
