Please join us as we celebrate Pi Day on Saturday, 3.16.19, 3-6:30pm.



Here is a tentative schedule (3-5pm FN2.102)

· 3D printing mathematics (Bin Hu)

· Geometry of flight: classical Greek architecture, satellite orbits, and the searching for a missing airplane (John Zweck)

· Why do cats always land on their feet? (Tomoki Ohsawa)

· Buffon’s Needle Problem (Nathan Williams and Maxim Arnold)



After the talks, pies/pizzas will be served at the FO 2rd floor Atrium, together with mathematical interaction, games, mathematical models and other fun activities.

What sets AwesomeMath Academy courses apart?
