Playing without screens can be fun and FREE! Pull out the pots & pans and wooden spoons and let your little ones make music! I don't know about you, but I remember doing this as a kid and it made some great core memories!

⭐️ What an AMAZING First Day! ⭐️
We couldn’t have asked for a better start to a brand-new school year at North Star! Our classrooms were full of happy kiddos, new friendships, lots of exploring and playing, and teachers who were SO excited to welcome everyone back!

And our morning was made extra special by some pretty wonderful people! A HUGE thank you to the Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church staff & volunteers who came out bright and early to open doors, welcome families, and help make that first-day drop-off a little extra special. We are so thankful for the church community that surrounds and supports North Star!

And another HUGE thank you to Credit Union of Texas for providing breakfast for our parents this morning! The breakfast bowls, muffins, and orange juice were DELICIOUS and such a fun way to start everyone's day! 🧁🍊

Our hearts are full after Day ONE. We are so excited for everything this year has in store!

Today our entire North Star staff spent the day at the Early Childhood Christian Network Conference learning new ideas, practical strategies, and gaining fresh inspiration to bring back to our classrooms.

We were especially proud to cheer on our very own Mrs. Jennie, who was one of the conference presenters! She shared her passion and expertise in preschool science with early childhood educators from across Texas. What an incredible way to represent North Star!

We can't wait to put everything we learned into action this school year. 🍎✨
