Yesterday was our FIRST Stretch-N-Grow class and man was it fun! I saw some stretching, exercising, skating on paper plates, scarf games, and even a giant parachute!

What a beautiful afternoon celebrating two incredible women! 💛

On Friday, we gathered with current and former families, coworkers, and so many past students to honor the retirement of Betsy Abernathy and Debbie Ross after decades of faithfully pouring into the lives of children and families through Early Childhood Education.

It was so special to see familiar faces from years past stop by to share memories, hugs, laughter, and stories of the lasting impact these ladies have made over the years. From cake and punch to sweet reunions and heartfelt conversations, the entire afternoon was filled with love, gratitude, and celebration.

Between them, Betsy and Debbie have devoted over 80 years to teaching, nurturing, encouraging, and loving children — what an incredible legacy they leave behind at North Star Learning Center. Their fingerprints are truly all over this school and in the hearts of generations of families.

Thank you, Betsy and Debbie, for the countless lives you’ve touched and for the love you’ve poured into this ministry for so many years. You will both be deeply missed and forever celebrated! 💐✨

Wow - what a FUN-filled week we have had already at North Star! ☀️🦋💛

On Monday, all of our Preschool B, C, & D students gathered outside in the Outdoor Classroom for a special Chapel lesson before releasing our butterflies together! Such a sweet and exciting moment for the kids. 🦋

Tuesday for Cinco de Mayo, Mrs. Rains made super yummy cinnamon roll-ups with the Preschool C & D classes… and they were a BIG hit! 🌮🎉

And today was our annual Muffins with Mom event - and it was soooo lovely. 💕
Thank you to all the moms, grandmas, aunts, and special guests who came to celebrate with us. We loved getting to share this special morning with you all!
We are so thankful for this wonderful school community and all the sweet memories being made together. 🥰
