Every new teacher deserves a great start. ✨ As part of New Hire Week, the Zero-Year Teacher Supply Store gives brand-new teachers free school supplies to help stock their first classroom.

Congratulations to the Richardson High School and Lake Highlands High School volleyball teams for earning AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll distinction! 🏐📚

This award places both programs in the top 20% of high school varsity team GPAs nationwide. RHS Volleyball continues to set the standard in the classroom—earning this honor for the 14th time and ranking among the Top 35 programs in the nation for total number of AVCA Academic Awards.

We are incredibly proud of our student-athletes and for making academic excellence a core part of our culture!

It’s a great day when the RISD Athletics Department coaches come together under one roof for the Annual Coaches Meeting to prepare for the season ahead! They had the opportunity to celebrate the District Coaches of the Year and are ready to create experiences that last a lifetime for our student-athletes and continue the culture of excellence for all!

Please be aware that the City of Dallas Police Department School Resource Officers (SROs) will be conducting training at Prestonwood Elementary this morning, Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

These training exercises are part of the department's ongoing efforts to maintain preparedness and strengthen emergency response capabilities.
