Suffa Islamic Seminary is a new Traditional Islamic Sciences school for ages 15 and up, established a The name comes from Ashab (Ahl) al-Suffa.
"Al-Suffa" was the first Islamic School in the history of Islam. Its teacher was no other than our own beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Its students, "Ahl-Suffa" were known to have given up worldly desires and were in a perpetual state of learning their deen. This school was in our beloved Prophet's masjid in Medina. Muslim Youth-X and Suffa Seminary present their first winter break program titled: VIP Club (Very Important Prophets Club)
The program presents the stories of the Prophets (Peace be upon them) through a 30-hour program over winter break. The program is designed and run by Muslim Youth-X and hosted by Suffa.
The uniqueness of this program is that it integrates Quranic studies with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math), life skills, and character development. The program has a strong physical development and team building activities. The program will conclude with a play about the story of Musa عليه السلام (the character of Musa عليه السلام will not be represented by any actor.)
