Shaania Sakhia | President

Salam, my name is Shaania Sakhia and I am a senior studying Psychology. I started ΚΔΝ as a place for sisters to come together, learn from one another, and embrace the positive qualities Islam teaches us. In my free time, I’ve recently picked up ice skating! I’m fairly new to it but I’m looking forward to the coordination, strength, and other skills it will teach me, inshAllah. Zahin Rahman | Vice President

Assalamualaikum everyone! My name is Zahin Rahman and I am a junior studying Neuroscience. This year, my goal for KDN is to ensure that our sisterhood is a safe space for all of our girls and is a place where all of us can get closer to one another and enjoy our time together. From increasing our knowledge about Islam to being a part of each Kdn sister’s college journey, I hope to positively influence this amazing sisterhood inshaAllah. In my free time, I love reading novels about dystopian societies, going on long night drives, and studying in coffee shops. Reem Salem | Public Relations Officer

Salam y’all! My name is Reem Salem and I am a senior studying Public Affairs. I will be the Public Relations Officer this year and through that position, I hope to strengthen KDN as an organization and shine the light on the Islamic values and strong sisterhood that KDN embodies. In my free time, I watch kdramas, read, explore different restaurants/coffee shops, and take very long naps. I also like to draw and explore different artistic mediums. A hobby I picked up recently is digital art. I am fairly new at it but I love the creativity it provides. If you see me around campus come say hi and I can’t wait to see and work with everyone this year inshallah!
