Sand and shaving cream are both fun sensory experiences! Why not put them together?

You'll need:
-1 cup Play sand
-4-5 cups Shaving Cream

1. Fill the bottom of a plastic bucket with play sand.
2. Cover the sand with half the recommended amount of shaving cream. Stir together.
3. Add the remaining shaving cream, stirring with a spoon until you achieve a light foamy mixture. Enjoy immediately!

"I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!" Who doesn't love ice cream on a hot summer day? Here's an ice cream craft for some summer fun! 🍦

You will need:
-cardboard (for the cone)
-round cotton pads
-washable markers or food coloring with water
-small jars or cups
-eye droppers or pipettes
-white glue
-confetti (optional)
-tray to contain the mess 🙂

1. Glue cotton pads (overlapping to look like ice cream scoops onto some cardboard. 2. Draw a triangle cone at the bottom. Cut out around the pads and cone.
3. Use markers to make a criss cross pattern on the cone part of the cardboard.
4. On a tray, set out small jars of colored water and eye droppers. Gently squeeze the dropper to release color onto the cotton pads.
5. Once you've colored all the cotton pads, drizzle some glue on top and sprinkle some confetti.
6. Let dry, and you've got an ice cream masterpiece!

We all have plenty of sunscreen at home during the summer...why not make some art with it?

You will need:
-Sunscreen
-Paintbrush
-Black construction paper

Squeeze some sunscreen onto a plate and then use a paintbrush to paint the sunscreen onto black construction paper. Once their painting is complete, take it outside and lay it in direct sun for a few hours. Go check on it after a few hours, and you'll see that the areas of the paper covered in sunscreen (paint) are the same color. The rest of the paper will be faded. The sunscreen blocked the sun and kept the color intact.
